Help Cancel Cancer is committed to funding the most promising and innovative scientists in their early research of all forms of cancer prevention, treatment, cures and subsequent clinical applications.

H.C.C works with National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers and other hospitals in the United States to carry out its mission.

Founded by Dr. Daniel Gibson in 2009, in partnership with Dr. Lillian Thomas, H.C.C (Help Cancel Cancer) is a nonprofit, tax-exempt volunteer organization located in Los Angeles, California. Its mission is to fund the most promising and innovative scientists in their early research of all forms of cancer prevention, treatment, cures and subsequent clinical applications. H.C.C works with National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers (NCI) and other hospitals in the United States to carry out its mission. To date, Help Cancel Cancer has funded a total of 186 Awards to 149 researchers with support valued at over $58 million.
